Regulatory approval secured: NMi TechnoLab officially joins NMi Group

As manufacturers face growing demands to demonstrate product reliability, resilience and compliance driven by evolving regulation, investment in critical infrastructure and defence programmes, access to specialist testing capabilities has become more important.

Following regulatory approval, TechnoLab has officially joined NMi Group and will operate as NMi TechnoLab.

Together, NMi Testlab and NMi TechnoLab create a stronger testing capability in Germany by combining complementary expertise in environmental simulation, mechanical, EMC and radio testing with specialist capabilities such as dust testing, 3D laminography and advanced failure analysis. As part of NMi Group's international network, this gives customers access to deeper technical expertise while maintaining a single trusted partner for testing, inspection, certification and calibration.

The announcement follows recent media coverage highlighting NMi TechnoLab's specialist contribution to testing technologies used in defence and other mission-critical applications. This underscores the growing importance of independent environmental qualification as manufacturers respond to more demanding performance and compliance requirements.

Together, NMi Group provides customers with an integrated portfolio of testing, inspection, certification and calibration services, helping manufacturers bring trusted products to market safely, efficiently and with confidence.
